Our Mission

Our mission is to stand in the gap of inequality against women and advocate for their rights through a structured three (3) step plan:

Step 1

Raising Awareness

Through public speaking we intent to awaken the masses and inform them of their rights and encourage the victims to expose the offenders without compromising the victims’ status or freedom.

Step 2

Fight for criminalization

Criminalization of socially acceptable customs which puts women at risk or hold them against their will.

With the feedback from the awareness campaign we will have specific targets and proof when discussing passing of any bill at national level on behalf of victimized women for example criminalization of sex slavery which is a socially acceptable custom that only serve men at the expense of women.

Step 3

Giving Hope To Survivors

We endeavor to be the light, shedding hope to the victims of human trafficking, sex slavery, domestic violence and poverty through engaging with them, fighting for them and supporting them to become self-independent through various projects.

Meet The Founder

Grizelda M Grootboom

Like many women on the planet, human rights activist, motivational speaker, author  and founder of SURVIVOR EXIT FOUNDATION Ms. Grizelda Grootboom has suffered gender abuse, sex exploitation, forced drug abuse and human trafficking which she survived amongst other things. Is it charisma and positive thinking? Decisiveness? Is it all about the situation? Is it meant only for the chosen few who survive the cruelty women in this modern day face? Or, is there a different story? With over three decades infested with child abuse, human trafficking, prostitution, drug abuse and most importantly, real-life survival of it all. Today Grizelda appreciates and shares with young girls and women around the world from South African cities, India, Britain and USA the importance of women rights and criminalization of sex work which ignites the international pandemic of human trafficking.
